Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using GrabSet ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to GrabSet on iOS and Android. They constitute the entire agreement between you and GrabSet ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the App.

GrabSet is a mobile application that helps you capture, parse, organise, and query receipts on your device. Key characteristics: • All data processing — including AI-powered receipt parsing and conversational queries — runs entirely on your device using on-device models. • No account, no sign-up, and no email are required to use GrabSet. • GrabSet does not transmit your receipt images or parsed data to any external server. • Subscription management is handled anonymously through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use GrabSet. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. GrabSet is available globally subject to App Store and Play Store availability in your region. We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in all locations.

GrabSet requires a paid subscription to access its full feature set. Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. 4.1 Purchase. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Your payment is processed by Apple or Google, subject to their respective terms and conditions. 4.2 Anonymous subscriptions. GrabSet uses device-level anonymous subscription tokens. No personal identity is linked to your subscription. We do not receive or store your payment card details. 4.3 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Play Store account settings. 4.4 Refunds. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be made through Apple. Refund requests for Play Store purchases must be made through Google. GrabSet does not process refunds directly. 4.5 Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and maintenance of an active subscription (or during a free trial), we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to: • Download and install the App on devices you own or control. • Use the App for your personal, non-commercial receipt management purposes. You may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App; reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code; use the App in any way that violates applicable law; or use the App to process receipts for third parties on a commercial basis.

GrabSet offers multiple AI model tiers. When you select a model, it is downloaded to your device over your internet connection. Standard network charges from your carrier may apply. AI models are provided for personal use within the App only. You may not extract, copy, redistribute, or use the downloaded model files outside of GrabSet. AI-generated outputs — including parsed receipt fields and chat responses — are provided as-is to assist your personal record-keeping. They are not guaranteed to be accurate. You are responsible for verifying important financial data before relying on it for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

You retain full ownership of your receipt images and the data derived from them. GrabSet does not claim any rights over your content. Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. GrabSet is not liable for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, OS updates, or any other cause. The JSON sidecar backup system (which saves structured receipt data alongside each image in your gallery) is designed to assist recovery but is not a guarantee against data loss.

You agree not to use GrabSet to: • Process, scan, or store receipts or financial documents that you are not authorised to handle. • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App. • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App's infrastructure. • Use the App for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUTS, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI-powered receipt parsing may produce inaccurate results. You use the App and rely on its outputs at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GRABSET AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your GrabSet subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Your use of GrabSet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at grabset.com/privacy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or address security issues. Updates may be delivered through the App Store or Play Store. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated version. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or the GrabSet website at grabset.com/terms, with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
